World Wear Project donation bin

Cleaning out your closets and drawers? Donate your unwanted items to the World Wear Project bin located in the Hightower teacher parking lot.

World Wear Project is a Dallas-based clothing collection company that helps keep millions of pounds of textiles out of landfills each year.

Hightower PTA receives $0.12 for every pound of donated items!

Your donations help support Hightower PTA while giving you neater closets, drawers, toy boxes, and kitchens. They also help reduce the amount of textile waste sent to local landfills.

Donation Bin Reminders

  • All donated items and bags must fit completely inside the bin. Please do not leave items or bags on the ground. This helps keep the staff parking lot clean and safe for our teachers.
  • Please do not bring large or bulky items such as bicycles, car seats, furniture, or mattresses. These items cannot be accepted in the donation bin.
  • If the bin is full, please return on another day and contact Adrienne Gidley, VP3 – Ways & Means, at ways-and-means@hightowerpta.org .

Items that are too large to fit inside the bin may be donated through organizations such as Goodwill, The Salvation Army, or another local charity.
