2022-2023 Banking Days

What is Banking Day?
Hightower has a continuing relationship with North Dallas Bank and Trust that will allow you to set up your child's savings account with no monthly fee.  Once a month, a representative from the bank will visit the school to allow children to make deposits in any amount to the savings account. The child will then receive a prize from the bank to encourage them to continue to contribute to the account.

Why should I start a bank account for my child?
This program is a fun, convenient way to teach your children how to be financially responsible and save money.

What do I need to do to participate?
For your child to participate in Banking Day, you will need to visit the North Dallas Bank and Trust (located at Lorimar and Preston). There you will open an account for your child with a minimum deposit of $1. On the dates listed below, send money (cash or checks) with your child, along with a deposit slip or account number. They will be able to give it to a representative from the bank who will deposit it in their account.

How do I get started?

To open an account, the parent must physically go to the bank, complete a new account form, present a copy or original of the child’s social security card, as well as a valid driver’s license. ** To participate in the scheduled Banking Days below, you must first visit the bank in person to open the account.
