At Hightower, our PTA provides money for many programs and events that would otherwise not be provided to our students. Please consider participating in these programs to directly and/or indirectly donate to the school!
Credit Card donations are accepted at this link: Direct Donations. Hightower PTA uses all PTA funds to support our students, teachers, and school through special events, annual programs, and technology improvements. The PTA is 100% volunteer-based and we are grateful for donations of any amount!
Did you know that you can donate to Hightower PTA while grocery shopping or making an Amazon purchase? While shopping at Kroger, Tom Thumb, or Amazon, please consider adding Hightower as your charitable organization. You can donate to the PTA while purchasing your regular items!

Participating in the Box Tops program just got a whole lot easier this year--
We now have an app for that!
Want to help Hightower PTA earn extra cash by shopping for your family’s favorite groceries? Download the Box Tops app to your smart phone (available for both Android and iPhone devices), make sure that you designate Hightower as your school, then scan your receipts. The Box Tops app knows automatically which items on your receipt are eligible for Box Top redemption and will credit Hightower with the Box Top value.
It’s just that easy!
*** Make sure that you scan your receipts within 14 days of purchase! ***
Did you know? Box Tops provides us the opportunity to raise money for field trips, PE equipment, and other improvements to our school. We encourage you to get your friends and family involved. With the app, it's easy! Check out www.boxtops4education.com to view a list of eligible products.
Box Tops is such an easy way to support our school, and now it’s as simple as scanning your receipts!

Are you cleaning out closets and drawers during the pandemic and looking for an easy way to drop off your unwanted items? Consider donating to the World Wear Project bin in the Hightower teacher parking lot!
World Wear Project is a professional clothing collection company based in Dallas, Texas. Their efforts to keep millions of pounds of textiles from our landfills every year help our cities and counties by lowering their landfill space needs. Best of all, Hightower PTA receives $0.12 for every pound of donated items! The benefit for you? Neater closets, drawers, toy boxes, kitchens, and the knowledge that less textile waste will end up in our local landfills.
Friendly reminders when bringing your donated items:
- All donated items and bags must fit inside the bin. Please do not leave any donated items or bags on the ground outside the bin. We want to keep our staff parking lot clean and safe for our teachers to use.
- Please do not bring large, bulky items such as bicycles, car seats, or mattresses to the donation bin. These will not fit in the bin and cannot be accepted. We recommend that you take these items to Goodwill, Salvation Army, or other local charities.
- If the bin is full, please return on a different day and contact Erin Simon, Corporate Sponsorships Chair, at corporate-sponsorships@hightowerpta.org.
For anything that is too large to fit inside the bin, please contact other local agencies such as Goodwill or the Salvation Army to donate/recycle those items.
